Two component acrylic adhesive - acrylic 240

General Description

Uvalam ACRYLIC #240 is a clear two-component (10:1), reactive, high-strength adhesive, forming high strength joints in a few hours. The cemented joint retain high clarity, high strength and resistance to the effects of weathering and aging.

Adhesive Properties and Characteristics

Color:             Clear and transparent;

Viscosity:         2800-3000 cP;

Gravity:           1.03 ± 0.05;

Working Time:  20-30 minutes

Fix time:           40-50 minutes under temperature 22℃

The bonding strength will be higher gradually in one week. 

Time to reach 80% of full bond strength: 72 Hours (3 days).

The thickness of adhesive layer not over 2 mm to keep high transparency after cured.

Bonding substrate

Extruded, cast and cross-linked Acrylic sheet, polyester, Styrene, Butyrate, PETG, Rigid PVC, ABS, PETG, Polycarbonate (PC) and other plastics.

Bonding Application Recommendation

Uvalam ACRYLIC #240 is recommended for bonding of Acrylic plastics especially where good clarity retention is required. It is versatile and can be used in many applications such as sign fabrication, the manufacturing and repairing of Acrylic aquariums, museum quality display case and other plastic fabrication.
